1:31 pm - SNOW PICTURES FOR SARA

I wish flickr had some reasonable way of labeling pictures like yourphotonumber69.jpg, but no.

HEEEEY, does anyone want to do an art trade/secret santa thing this year? Is that a good idea? I am moving on Thursday and I was thinking about getting posters or something to put up. Turns out posters are really expensive? So...I'm taking advantage of the season of giving.

Does that sound like a good plan? Should I wait until after the holiday season when people are less busy? Let me know what you think/if you want to do it!

Options: A. I want to do it, I will make so many presents for everyone
B. I want to do it, I will make a present for one person
C. That does sound cool but I will be too busy/probably forget
D. No
E. No way, you suck

My scar hurts today so obviously something is up.

So now I can use the internets at my house.

Here's a present: me peeling a translucent face mask off. Or a "face condom" as Esteban Guerrero prefers to call it.

So this gorilla walks into a bar and meets the pope, the dalai lama, a rabbi, and Mohammed. A leaf falls from a branch, they all explode.

Enough text, I think. I will write a less than stupid entry when I finally get the internets in my home. Also, I'm going to get payed to pet-sit two of my ex-boyfriend's girlfriend's cats. Their names are Sam and Delilah! Pictures, when I take pictures/actually meet them.

Now, CRAP:

7:25 am - Over by Lakeside in the Mornin'

I'm in my car over by lakeside. It's pretty early, and I'm here for the free internet. This is a picture of what I look like right now, right this minute! I need a bike, someone give me one, and make it a nice one, k thanks.

It's illegal to sit in your car and steal internet, right? I COULD BE A DANGEROUS HACKER. The cops keep passing and nobody cares.

SARA, I AM GOING TO CALL YOU AFTER WORK TODAY (at like 6 so...6:05pm or something) FOR REALZ THIS TIME. Whachoo wanna do? Think of some things that are cool and I will spend all day doing the same.

4:00 pm - Reflections
I took a shower and it was so nice. I wish I was more of a regular bather, but whatcha gonna do. Then it wouldn't be as satisfying when I eventually do get to wash away all my grime and sins.

I'm at Sara's house. She has a nosebleed and is cleaning out her closet and giving me silly things to take home. Hello Kitty shorts = yes!

My mom is going to drop off some potted plants here so I can take them home with me. I told her I was going to be here for a while, Sara and I were supposed to make a terrarium for my hermit crabs. We're not though. I'm on the internet, cause I miss it. Sara's cleaning because she wants to. Her sister is a few minutes away, coming home for spring break. She lives in Houston, going to med school. She just got married. She's bringing her kittens, too, and her husband.

What should I do with my life? Something with travel? I could be a stewardess/flight attendant since they don't have such up tight rules anymore about what you can weigh, the color of your hair, pantyhouse, etc. I think you still can't wear glasses, since it makes people nervous EVEN THOUGH THEY'RE NOT THE ONES FLYING THE PLANE. But whatever. Can someone confirm or debunk that? Have you ever seen a steward/ess in glasses?

Or I could "spread Christ's love" by teaching "conversational English" in various places around the world. I'm probably a poor candidate for this but it just seems like a cool gig. To get to travel all the time. They advertise on facebook, though, so it's probably a scam. You show up, just wanting to help people and BAM! You get raped by a bull elephant instead of a job interview while twenty select Japanese businessmen watch. It happens.

Not to knock on the Japanese businessmen so much. They get a bad rap.

I have a bunch of sweet-ass breads in my house now. Pita, naan, sourdough, gyro bread, some raisin-nut hippie thing. It's heaven.

12:57 pm - I DON'T GIVE A HOOT
I gotz approved for my first apartment today (or I guess yesterday but I only heard about it today). It's all very excitin'. I like imagining it's going to be something like this:

But will probably end up looking something like this:

Oh well. I'm going to buy a shit ton of small animals that I'm allowed to keep in there, like betta fish and hermit crabs. Snakes. Newts. A cricket farm.

Ooh! A praying mantis!
I'm going to be a crazy cat lady, only sans cats.

And just for fun let's do a music rainbow:
Red Tape by Circle Jerks
Orange Rolls, Angel's Spit by Sonic Youth
Yellow Raspberry by Xiu Xiu
Greenshirt by Elvis Costello
Blueberry Boat by The Fiery Furnaces
Mood Indigo by Duke Ellington
Violet Execution by Sebadoh

The rules of music rainbow is you look up some songs that have colors in their names. And then you listen to them. Everybody wins!

1:01 pm - MY ONLY SUGGESTION WOULD BE TO ADD MORE SYLLABLES
After weeks of looking, hoping, praying I finally got a call back for a jearrb/jorb/job at a childrens cossignment shop. Hey, what's the propper '-age for "childrens" up there? Childrens'? It for children but not made by/owned by children and children is already the plural of child...? These are the things I worry about. Anyway, it's the sort of work where I meticulously and then mindlessly organize objects by numbers which is the sort of thing, no kidding, I love to do. I work myself into a frenzy and, after about seven or so hours, erupt in this weird capatalistic eupohoria. I'm part of the work force! I'm contributing to our country's and the world's economy!, etc. I start training on Tuesday.

In other news, I'm totally dating a mad scientist. He showed me his evil box of no-good chemicals. I hope sometime he'll be able to get his hands on some sodium and we could throw it in some pools and make SALT!!!!1!1!

J/k, that would totally explode enough to crack the bottom of the pool and endanger our lives. I'm totally kidding.

Or am I.

12:02 pm - MUNDANE MONDAY
I don't want to go to class in an hour. I want to go play cowboys and indians in a field with squirt guns. And not just any field either, one of those big overgrown fields where the grass comes up to your chest and everyone gets chiggers.

I don't want anymore schooling, thanks. I just want to settle down, live in an abandoned missle silo and write books. Like, I want to adapt songs into comic books and novels into choose your own adventure books. I want to make bad movies and "artistic" powerpoints. I want to write funny rhyming poetry about fruits and vegetables. I want an alpaca. You guys can come too.

Here is a movie Esteban and I made over break. Yeah, we transfered it to my camera by filming his camera playing it. The "editing" we did is minimal, but you'll notice it if you watch. I'll give you a hint: it's magic.

9:50 pm - I MAKED A CHAR GUD!

Uh, here's a chair. It's also a teapot. I'm not sure if you can really tell how it's constructed from these photos, but I think you can get the basic idea. It's a square frame with feet and a back that looks like a teapot. Yeah, it's a shark fighting a lion.

See? You can pick up the back and pretend to pour it into the cups, like a tea set. See?

11:57 am - I DONT USE MIRRORS ANY MORE, I USE PHOTOBOOTH
My tires are running low on air, I need to fill them up soon, like today but more likely tomorrow. I didn't even notice, but some old guy (70s?) did. I was waiting at a light and he was on the bus stop bench: "HEY, you need air in them tires." Oh. Thanks random old man with sage advice? Old men know everything, and you just need to catch up with them at the right time and BAM! your life is all the better for it.

I'm halfway through with my errands that need a-runnin'. I went to the post office and got my NEW IPOD!!!11! The apple store finally replaced it within a month of my warranty expiring and I finally found the post office within a day of them returing the package to sender. Not that anyone that reads this lives in Minneapolis, but if you ever visit check out the post office! Its this sweet old building (I think from the teens or twenties?) and all the employees stand behind these old bank-teller-esque windows circa Mary Poppins. Remember the part where they go in the bank? Its like that, everything is made of stone or brass. I wanted to buy some Jimmy Stewart stamps but I got hustled over to a package-pickup place that was far away from the stamp-place and I forgot to go back. Ah well, another day.

Later I'm going to the Party Store for some white face paint (for my costume) and some doilies (for my teapot chair). I'm getting pumped for halloween and all the tricks and treats it holds. I'm going to a pumpking-carving party tonight, only I dont have a pumpkin so I'll be carving a butternut squash. I'm not sure if it'll work, but whatever. If it doesn't I guess I'll just eat it.

Oh btw, I named my new ipod "Chastity."

10:33 pm - YYAMAS

Hee-ey, here they are, as promised (I think), some pictures of stuff I've been making. This lovely gem is for my 2D class and as the more astute of you will realise, is a color wheel. Made of pigeons! Hooray! Yeah, I know it's hard to tell but one of them is purple and one of them is "azure." And I don't care how many times or how many people tell it to me, but magenta plus orange does not equal red. That is just not true, it equals this weird orangey pink. So Many Lies!!
